Jennifer is the Founder of ReVoice Clinic and an expert Speech-language therapist and Yoga therapist

With over 12 years of clinical experience, Jennifer specialises in the assessment and treatment of adult acquired speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.

She has practiced in public and private health systems in New Zealand and United Kingdom.

She is fascinated by mind-body connection and believes elements of yoga therapy are a powerful adjunct to traditional speech-language therapy. She loves learning about people and practices in a culturally supportive and motivating way to empower her clients to achieve their goals as soon as possible.

Jennifer utilises Te Whare Tapa Wha an inspirational model in Maori healthcare to understand the psychological, emotional, spiritual, mental and physical needs of an individual in order to optimise their role in their family, whanau, communities and environment. Using the model forms the basis of the therapy journey, as the client realises and aspires to what is truly important to them to fully participate in their life.

Jennifer receives referrals from Ear, Nose & Throat and other specialists such as Neurologists, Immunologists and Respiratory Doctors across New Zealand. She also accepts self-referrals directly from clients. She values being connected to other specialists and will let her clients know if an onward referral may be of benefit to them.

She is competent in Flexible Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallowing to objectively evaluate swallowing function. She interprets Videofluoroscopies to implement swallowing rehabilitation programmes.

Jennifer is registered with the New Zealand Speech language therapist’s association, a professional body that assures a high level of training, competence, and confidentiality.

She loves meeting new people, hiking and yoga, and can be found reading a research article at weekends to keep her therapy methods current and fresh!
